Campbell Avenue United Methodist Church - 400 West Division St.
Campbell Ave. United Methodist Church

In 1886 Rev. W. W. Jared with thirteen charter members organized the Campbell Avenue Methodist Church. It was the second Methodist Church in Springfield. In 1887 Bishop E. R. Hendrix broke ground for the present architecturally significant Church, which was completed and dedicated in 1888. The educational wing was added in 1921, and the entire church was rebuilt in 1927.

The church building is now used by the Assemblies of God.
