- Prentiss Ingraham - Biography of the man who worked for Buffalo Bill and wrote several book that helped give him exposure.
- Gordon Lillie - Also known as Pawnee Bill he was a friend and competitor of Cody in the Wild West show business.
- Alexander Majors - The man who gave Cody his first job as a youngster.
- Johnny Baker - The young man considered Cody's "adopted son" and a member of the Wild West cast.
