Engelberg, Switzerland, is the typical Alpine village. Everywhere there are excellent views of the mountains. Houses seem to be stacked on top of each other as they make use of the steep Swiss terrain. The city is home to a large monastery. From here one can take a train into nearby Lucerne, better known than Engelberg
