Beijing: The Capitol City
Beijing, in north central China, is an important tourist site because it serves as a hub to see so many of the jewels of Chinese history.
It is a city of contrasts. Looking out of your hotel room you can see modern Beijing in the background back to back with small hovels of the less fortunate citizens.
With over 11 million people, it is a mass of people and myriad bicycles and motor scooters.
